"Emotions are the next frontier to be understood and conquered. To manage our emotions is not to drug them or suppress them, but to understand them so that we can intelligently direct our emotional energies and intentions.... It's time for human beings to grow up emotionally, to mature into emotionally managed and responsible citizens. No magic pill will do it."-- Doc Childre

The formula for success is Be, Do, Have. If we seek abundance, we must be abundant in spirit. We can begin to cultivate spiritual wealth by opening ourhearts in gratitude. Start a gratitude journal today. Each evening, write down at least 5 things for which you are grateful. This simple tool will help you open your eyes to the abundance of your world right now."Who does not thank for little will not thank for much."-- Estonian proverb

Love is the way messengers from the mystery tell us things -- Rumi

Love is spirit. Spirit is the self -- Deepak Chopra

Within the Father-Mother Mind, mortal children are at home. There is not one who is Fatherless nor Motherless in the Universe. -- The Kybalion

"There are many aspects to success; material wealth is only one component....But success also includes good health, energy and enthusiasm for life, fulfilling relationships, creative freedom, emotional and psychological stability, a sense of well-being, and peace of mind." -- Deepak Chopra

Watch for those times when you perceive yourself to be separate from the rest of the world. When you find yourself feeling uncomfortable, threatened or isolated, remember Neale Donald Walsch’s words: "there’s only one of us in this room." When we perceive differences in thinking and behaving, we might remember thatthese are merely different expressions of the one universal life force. We can release judgment as to whether those differences are right or wrong or good or bad. We can drop the labels that divide the world into pieces, and simply appreciate the rich variety of ways that energy can manifest as form. "If we are to achieve a rich culture, rich in contrasting values, we must recognize the whole gamut of human potentialities, and so weave a less arbitrary social fabric, one in which each diverse human gift will find a fitting place." -- Margaret Mead

"When guilt rears its ugly head confront it, discuss it and let it go. The pastis over. It is time to ask what can we do right, not what did we do wrong.Forgive yourself and move on." --Bernie S. Siegel

We usually get angry at someone, don’t we? We judge that someone has done something wrong and we want them to be punished. In truth, the actions of others are never to blame. It’s our thinking - ourblaming and judgment - that causes the anger. And we blame and judge because wehave a need that has not been met. In his book 'Nonviolent Communication,' Marshall B. Rosenberg advises that rather than blame others, we are better served by directing our energy towards meeting our own needs. He offers a simple tool for change. Instead of saying, ‘I am angry because they...’ we can say, ‘I am angry because I am needing ....’ "At the core of all anger is a need that is not being fulfilled." -- Marshall B. Rosenberg

In our world of duality, fear and love sit at opposite ends of the continuum.Fear belongs only to the personality because it believes in separation and impermanence. The soul never knows fear because it understands the unity of all. When fear arises, we can invite our soul to sit with our frightened personality. What soul energies are waiting to be acknowledged? When we bring higher energiesinto the presence of lower energies, the lower energies are transformed."What is needed, rather than running away or controlling or suppressing or anyother resistance, is understanding fear; that means, watch it, learn about it, come directly into contact with it. We are to learn about fear, not how to escape from it."-- Jiddu Krishnamurti

Meditation is considered an essential practice for those who seek self-knowledgeand self-mastery. Why? Basically, meditation brings awareness of how our minds work. Over time, we become watchers, able to detach from the thoughts andemotions that play out in our minds. With this detachment, we gain the freedom to choose whether or not to act on ourthoughts and emotions. We learn to distinguish between objective reality and ourmental and emotional dramas."Only in quiet waters things mirror themselves undistorted. Only in a quiet mindis adequate perception of the world."-- Hans Margolius

How can you open to greater trust that you’ll always have what you need? Fear, doubt, anxiety and disbelief all serve to repel abundance from us. Faith, love and gratitude for the gifts of our lives keep energy and abundance flowing. The more we trust in our well being, the more it will be realized. "Manifestation is an act of trust. It is the soul pouring itself out into its world, like a fisherman casting a net to gather in the fish he seeks; with eachcast properly made, we will bring what we need to us, but first we must hurl ourselves into the depths without knowing just what lies beneath us." -- David Spangler

"Once, when we were discussing a world peace project with my teacher, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, somebody asked him, ‘Where is all the money going to come from?’And he replied without hesitation, ‘From wherever it is at the moment.’" -- Deepak Chopra
